She spent all her money on shopping, plastic surgeries, entertainment, cars and men. She owes money to the tax authorities, creditors and exes. The situation is so serious that Price has been forced to vacate her famous £2million estate and now owes the tax office almost £762,000. The government is forced to demand money via her Only Fans account.

Early Life of Katie Price

Katie Price, also known as Georgia Sanders, was born on September 22, 1978 in Brighton, East Sussex, in southeast England. Her birth name is Katrina Amy Alexandra Alexis Infield. She was the only daughter of Ray and Amy Infield. When she was just four years old, her father left the family, which is why, at age 17, Katie took the surname of her stepfather, Paul Price, whom her mother married in 1988. She is of Italian, Spanish, English and Jewish descent. Despite the fact that her maternal grandmother was Jewish, Katie is not religious.

From an early age, she showed an interest in modeling and art. She was also interested in sports, swimming and horse riding. At the age of 13, she started modeling and her career soon began to gain popularity.

After finishing school, Katie worked as a model for various magazines and participated in photo shoots. Her first significant success came in 1996, when she became popular for her photo shoots in candid magazines such as “The Sun” and “Page 3”. She has also appeared on the covers of magazines such as FHM, Maxim, Nuts, Front, Zoo Weekly, Sky, Esquire, Loaded. In the 2000s, Katie took part in a number of documentaries about the modeling business, where she played herself. This period helped her create an impressive image, which she later used to further develop her brand.

The first great successes

Katie Price literally burst onto the modeling scene, eclipsing many of the greatest models of the time. Price took her first professional photographs on the advice of a friend. At that time, she decided to become a model. In 1996, she became famous under the pseudonym Jordan, appearing on Page 3 in the British newspaper The Sun. Her first breast augmentation surgery at age 20 also increased her popularity. Since then, she has been actively appearing on the pages and covers of such magazines as Daily Star, FHM, British and American editions of Playboy, Nuts, Maxim, Loaded, Vogue and Esquire.

Price has been active in various reality shows and programs. In her early days, she starred in The Big Breakfast and was a guest host on the first series of The Friday Night Project. In 2005, she released her fitness DVD, The Jordan Workout. From January to February 2004, Katie appeared on the third series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, where she met her first husband Peter Andre. In 2009, she reappeared on the ninth series of the show, but left after nine days. Presenters Ant & Dec explained that her filming was meant to be a surprise, but some media spoiled it. Katie Price has also been the subject of many other TV shows that revealed her domestic life.

Together with Peter, Katie produced a series of reality shows Katie & Peter on ITV2, which followed the couple’s lives. Although they split in 2009, individual shows were recorded and aired until 2011. In addition, Channel 4 commissioned a series of documentaries about Katie Price, directed by Richard Masur. These were Jordan: The Truth About Me (2002), Jordan: The Model Mum (2004) and Jordan: You Don’t Even Know Me (2004). The list of films was expanded by several more: Jordan Gets Even on Five (2004) and Jordan: Living With a Dream (2017-2019).

Following her success as a model and media personality, Katie decided to go into business. She launched a nutritional supplement line that was named one of the “Top 5 worst celebrity diets to avoid in 2018” by the British Dietetic Association. The supplements and meal replacements were promoted with unsupported evidence of their usefulness or effectiveness, with experts saying her products were too expensive and not necessary for those who really wanted to lose weight. In 2007, Price launched her first perfume, Stunning, and in 2008, she collaborated with Derby House to launch her own equestrian clothing collection.

Another area in which Katie has excelled is writing. Having sold nearly three million books, she was among the top 100 best-selling authors of the decade in terms of sales between 2000 and 2009. In addition to eight autobiographies, Price is also the author of 11 novels. Additionally, this may be surprising, but in association with Random House, Katie also created a children’s book series, Katie Price’s Perfect Ponies. As of 2017, there have been 12 new books released in this series. And since 2008, another children’s series, Mermaids & Pirates, has also had 12 books released. Katie continues to write books to this day. Her list of autobiographies and novels is quite impressive. Among her works, the following stand out:

  • Being Jordan (2004)
  • A Whole New World (2006)
  • Angel (2006)
  • Crystal (2007)
  • Angel Uncovered (2008)
  • Sapphire (2009)
  • Paradise (2010)
  • Make my Wish Come True (2014)

Challenges and setbacks Price faced in 2020-2023

Despite her impressive success in the 90s and early 2000s, Price’s life was and remains not so simple. She has appeared in court numerous times on various charges, including drunk driving, suspended license, and assault. She has been the victim of assault herself. For example, in 2009, Price claimed that she had previously been raped by a celebrity. However, she would not then or now reveal who her attacker was. In 2018, when Katie went to Swaziland to film, she became a victim of crime again. Initially, it was reported that she was kidnapped and robbed, but in 2022, Price also admitted that she was raped during the kidnapping. After this incident, she suffered from depression and suicidal thoughts for a long time.

She has a rich history of driving offences. For example, in 2008, Katie used her phone while driving, and therefore received three points on her driving licence. As a result, having accumulated 13 points on her driving licence, she was suspended from driving for 6 months in 2010. In 2015, Price’s car ran a red light, for which she was found guilty. In 2018, she was banned from driving again for six months because she was driving while disqualified. In 2019, she violated a previous ban, for which she received a new one for three months. This ban was subsequently extended for another three months due to drunk driving. In 2019, the court suspended her driving license for two years, but the ban ended up lasting only a year and a half. In December 2021, she was involved in an accident with an overturned car, for which Katie received a 16-week suspended sentence with unpaid work and a two-year driving ban. In 2023, police seized Katie’s Range Rover for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance. In March 2024, she was ordered to pay £1,852 in fines and charges for driving without a valid licence and insurance. Katie’s licence was reportedly suspended for medical reasons last year and has since expired. Despite this, already in early September of this year, Price was again seen driving her Range Rover, although according to a court decision she had to return it due to bankruptcy.

In August 2018, Katie Price’s bankruptcy hearings began in the High Court. However, the hearing was subsequently adjourned as the court decided to give her three months to pay off her debts through an individual voluntary agreement. In November 2019, Price declared bankruptcy. At the time, her total debt was around £3.5 million.

To get out of debt, Katie Price started an OnlyFans account in early 2022. She promised her subscribers a lot of her archived content. However, users soon began to complain about the lack of dirty content from Katie, which is why many refused to continue their subscription.

How is Katie living today?

At the moment, it seems that Katie Price pays more attention to her appearance than to her reputation. In July 2024, a London court issued an arrest warrant for former model Katie Price after she failed to attend a bankruptcy hearing. Instead, she decided to visit Turkey for another cosmetic procedure. After returning to London, the celebrity was arrested at the airport. However, she was released from custody on bail a few hours later in exchange for an obligation to attend the trial. According to British media, Price arrived at the hearing, which took place in late August, wearing all black and her eyes were covered with sunglasses.

In May 2024, bailiffs evicted the model and her family after she failed to make her monthly mortgage payments. The home, also known as the “Mucky Mansion,” was put up for sale. Although a potential buyer has been found, the mansion is still on the market as of this date.

Two months earlier, the former model had been declared bankrupt for a second time over an unpaid tax bill. Shortly before this, in February, an order was issued to seize 40% of her income.

Despite the big troubles, she continues to post photos and videos on her social networks. In early September, Katie Price reveals her plans for two holidays, which she decided to spend in Thailand with all her children. She announced this during a live session on her TikTok account.

Katie is not downhearted. In one of her latest interviews with Channel 5 News, she said that she now knows how to cope with difficulties, so she promised never to hit rock bottom again.
