Stacey Chanelle Clare Solomon was born on October 4, 1989 in Dagenham, London, England. It is known that her parents’ names are Fiona and David. Stacey has a sister, Jemma, and a brother, Matthew.

Before making her first TV appearance as a contestant on The X Factor, Stacey gave birth to her first son Zachary with her boyfriend Dean Cox in 2008 at the age of 18. She gave birth to her second child in 2012 with her ex-fiancé Aaron Barham.

Her television career and path to success

Stacey’s career began in 2009 when she auditioned for the sixth series of The X Factor. After performing “What a Wonderful World” in her audition, she became one of the top 12 contestants and was able to advance to the live shows, mentored by Australian singer Dannii Minogue.

She finished third in the series, losing to Joe McElderry and Olly Murs. On 10 March 2021, Solomon announced she would be presenting a new decluttering show, Sort Your Life Out, for the BBC. A second series of it premiered on 25 January 2023. She attended the NTA awards ceremony with her eldest son, Zach. Stacey’s fans are waiting for the release of new series Sort Your Life Out in the following year.

On 24 May 2022, it was later announced that Solomon would replace comedian Tom Allen as the new co-host of Bake Off: The Professionals. She was replaced by English comedian and actress Ellie Taylor in the subsequent series.

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash first met in 2010 while filming I’m A Celebrity, where Joe was a presenter and Stacey was a contestant. Solomon was in a relationship during the show and gave birth to her second son with her then-fiancé in 2012. She and Joe remained friends until 2016. As Swash later admitted, he liked Stacey right away, but he knew it was not the right time.

In January 2016, the first rumors about their relationship appeared, as they were spotted together.
