On Sunday, November 10, Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague posted a blog about their trip to Dubai with the almost two-year-old daughter Bambi. Despite the happy photos from their holiday, the trip wasn’t all that easy. Hague shared that instead of resting and relaxing, she felt ‘out of her depth’. Raising a child alone made her realize how much she missed the ’emotional and physical support’ from Tommy Fury, whom she split from in August 2024. The couple met on the show Love Island in 2019 and have been in a relationship ever since. The news of their breakup came as a real shock to fans, as their first child was born only in January 2023, and they got engaged in July last year.
Molly-Mae also said that over the past few months, she felt like she had found the right approach to the child and was becoming a good mother. However, the trip completely undermined her confidence. Hague admitted that she could hardly hold back tears the whole way on the plane. Despite help from her friend Erin, Molly-Mae noted she needed the support of her partner and the father of the child.
Molly-Mae Hague said that they even had to return home early because Bambi was constantly naughty, refusing to sit in the stroller or put on shoes, and also cried almost all the time. In addition, Hague’s daughter was not feeling well in a foreign country, coughing and having a runny nose. In any case, Molly now blames herself for this idea, as she is sure that the child did not need this trip at all. She thinks that her daughter is a ‘homebird’ just like herself.
Molly-Mae’s daughter Bambi is going through a ‘clingy’ era
It seems that such moody behavior of the little girl is also due to the fact that she is currently in the ‘clingy’ era.
In one of her latest vlogs, Molly-Mae told followers about the difficulties of motherhood that she has to face. She admitted that Bambi screams and cries when she is not near her mother. Because of this, Molly-Mae cannot go to the toilet or take a shower. In addition, not long ago, Molly’s daughter cried for three days when she was visiting grandmother because she missed her mom. Hague called this period the ‘clingy’ era, as the child constantly needs either mom or dad.
Molly-Mae Hague shares Christmas spirit with followers
Despite the challenges of solo motherhood, Molly-Mae Hague and Bambi are getting ready for Christmas. She posted lovely photos and video of their Sunday shopping. Fans were touched by the photo of Bambi hugging a giant stuffed toy of a snowy winter elf, as well as a video of her pushing toy shopping trolly. Molly-Mae captioned the footage: “And so it begins,” adding a Santa emoji. Hague has not yet shared their plans for Christmas, but most likely she will spend holidays together with Bambi.
