Stacey Solomon gave birth to her first daughter on her 32nd birthday, October 4, 2021. She says it was the best gift she could have ever imagined. The baby girl is her fourth child and her second with then-fiancé and now-husband Joe Swash.
Stacey and Joe got engaged in December 2020 and were busy planning their wedding in early 2021. In March, they bought their home, Pickle Cottage, where they still live and where they planned to hold their wedding ceremony. However, in June, Stacey Solomon announced she was pregnant, so the couple decided to postpone the wedding so their daughter could be a part of the big event. As a result, the wedding took place only in July 2022. Today, Stacey Solomon is raising five children: three boys and two daughters.
This year Stacey celebrated 35th birthday and Rose turned three
On October 4, Stacey and Rose celebrated their birthdays at home at Pickle Cottage surrounded by family. Solomon shared photos of the decorations she had made for the celebration. She made sure to fulfill her daughter’s every wish by decorating the dining area with a large garland of pink and white flowers. Also, since Rose is a Lilo & Stitch fan, all the decorations were themed, including the cake, balloons, and a large Stitch plush toy.
A photo of the home’s decorations, posted on Stacey’s Instagram, was captioned with touching words referencing the movie: “Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind – or forgotten.”
The little birthday girl seemed delighted with the gifts. Stacey Solomon shared a photo of her three-year-old daughter smiling widely as she posed in a beige jumper with her age and name on it, as well as a pink frilly skirt.
Rose performed a few songs on her new miniature pink piano. But the gifts didn’t stop there. After the impromptu concert, Stacey revealed a Stitch-themed birthday cake. It was a pale blue, frosted, decorated with flowers and an edible Stitch figure. Rose’s name was emblazoned on the front.
The black heart-shaped cake was for Stacey Solomon. It was covered in thick black glitter icing and had her name and age written in grey icing in the center. However, Solomon admitted that the most important gift on her birthday is her daughter. Thanks to her, every birthday is special for Stacey.
Stacey Solomon promised her daughter to make all her wishes come true, just like she did when she created the miniature piano.
